Specific uniforms and tools are required for Culinary and Pastry Arts students at ACC. As a student in a Culinary Arts program, you are required to wear a uniform for culinary lab classes. The faculty of the program expects a dress code consistent with industry standards.
Culinary students have options when purchasing their uniforms and tools:
● The Ultimate Image – Offers all uniform components and has an option for shoes. Online purchases only.
● Mission Restaurant Supply – Offers all uniform components and Tool kits. In-store purchases only.
● ACC Highland Bookstore – Offers all uniform components (except shoes) and Tool Kits. In-store purchases only.
Students must have their uniforms and tools by the first day of classes. Jackets should be ordered 4-6 weeks prior to the start of the semester.

The approved ACC Culinary Arts uniform consists of the following:
- White, Long-Sleeve, Embroidered Chef Jacket (Hospitality Students: Plain White, Long-Sleeve, Non-Embroidered Chef Jacket)
- Black & White Checkered or Houndstooth Pattern Chef Pants
- White Double-Sided Long Apron
- White Skull Cap or Chef’s Hat (Must contain all hair)
- Black Slip Resistant Shoes (Non-Canvas)
- White Bar Towels (Set of 2)
