● US Foods Scholars – Two recipients chosen from ACC Culinary each year!

US Foods Scholars awards financial support and professional development opportunities to students who plan to pursue an education in the culinary arts and enter the restaurant industry. We work with our partners, the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) and the American Culinary Federation (ACF), to identify deserving students who have demonstrated outstanding potential and achievement in the culinary arts, and require additional resources to take the next step on their culinary journey. The program aims to inspire students to reach their full potential and contribute a meaningful solution to the talent shortage facing the restaurant industry.

● Les Dames d’Escoffier of Austin Scholarships

The Austin Les Dames scholarships are for local women who are pursuing full-time culinary coursework in a culinary arts program for professional development. The Austin Dames will also select women to receive Beyond the Classroom stipends for career-related continuing education expenses, such as conference attendance, exams, and professional certification.

2024 scholarship applications will begin in January 2024.

● James Beard Foundation Scholarship
The James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program helps aspiring culinary students realize their dreams by supporting them on a path to success in the rewarding world of the hospitality industry. Professional grants enable those already working in the industry to gain experience and hone their skills.

Scholarship deadline: Friday, April 5, 2024

● American Culinary Federation
With the support of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), ACF offers educational scholarships to high school students, college students, professional chefs looking to further their education or become certified, and student culinary teams currently competing at ACF regional and national conferences.

Scholarship deadlines are April 30 and October 31 of each year.

● Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The HSF Scholarship is designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage obtain a college degree.

2024 scholarship applications will begin January 1, 2024.

● NEWH- The Hospitality Industry Network Scholarships
NEWH, Inc. and its chapters are tasked with fundraising to provide scholarship dollars for eligible students wishing to enter the Hospitality Industry.  NEWH Chapters offer scholarships annually. (Students interested in applying to use this scholarship at ACC need to apply via the Houston Chapter of NEWH.)

● Mann Lake Beekeeping Scholarship                                                                                                                                               We are pleased to announce Mann Lake’s scholarship for college students who aspire to be outstanding and extraordinary. We are looking for academically excellent students who are in pursuit of better education and currently/about to be enrolled in any apiology program, major in agriculture & environmental sciences, and other related studies.
