Tari Hood

With over 30 years of experience in Austin’s dynamic hospitality industry, Tari Hood has built a career rooted in service, connection, and excellence. She began her journey as a cocktail server and bartender, gaining first hand insight into creating memorable guest experiences.  Her passion for hospitality eventually led her to Sterling Affairs, a leading special events company, where she deepened her expertise in planning and event execution. 

After her time with Sterling Affairs, Tari took a meaningful break from the industry to start a family. In 2017, she returned to her professional path by enrolling at Austin Community College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management. While pursuing a career in special events, an internship at a local hotel shifted her focus—she discovered a passion for sales that reshaped her trajectory. 

Through the challenges and uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tari remained resilient, holding steady in her commitment to the industry she loves. Today, she proudly serves as the Director of Sales for RemingtonHotels, leading sales efforts at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown. Known for her adaptability, leadership, and deep-rooted hospitality values, Tari continues to make a lasting impact in Austin’s hotel and events community.
