We at Austin Community College are committed to teaching the creativity and commitment it takes to be successful in the hospitality industry. Our students work alongside renowned professors and chefs. We integrate management theory with practical business acumen, knowledge and skills, while also incorporating information about basic nutrition, food theory, marketing, statistics, and even geography.<br \/>\nOur programs are accredited by both the Accreditation Council of Business Schools &amp; Programs (ACBSP) and Southern Association of Colleges &amp; Schools (SACS).<\/div>\n<div class=\"headline\">\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who Joins Our Programs?<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<p>Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit? Our Programs Unique?<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content\"><strong style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality and Variety of Programs<\/strong><br \/>\nWe offer both Associates of Applied Science Degrees and Certificates in two different fields: Hospitality Management\u00a0 and Meeting &amp; Event Planning.<br \/>\nWe offer an Associates of Applied Science degree in Hospitality Management-Baccalaureate Preparation designed specifically for transfer to a 4-year institution upon graduation or for transfer as general education credits.<br \/>\nWe are among a handful of Meeting and Event Planning programs in the nation that offer a degree and certificate.<br \/>\n<strong style=\"font-weight: bold\">Convenience<\/strong><br \/>\nWe offer courses in block time, so you can elect to attend a class once per week thus allowing you to work.<br \/>\nWe offer courses both during the day and at night, to work with your schedule.<br \/>\nWe offer departmental advising to <em>ALL STUDENTS<\/em> each semester to help you stay on track.<br \/>\n<strong style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are active in our industry and community service programs<br traditional and distance learning modes, to higher education and workforce training, including appropriate applied baccalaureate degrees, in its service area.<\/p>\n<p>To fulfill its mission, the
