NEW STUDENTS – New culinary\/pastry students must submit a student petition form. If a student fails to submit this form, their desired culinary courses will not be unlocked for registration. Once submitted please email an advisor for next steps.<\/span><\/p>\n

CURRENT\/FORMER STUDENTS – Current or former culinary\/pastry students must submit a student petition form each semester<\/strong>. If a student fails to submit this form, culinary courses will not be unlocked for registration. FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATE<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

All culinary and pastry students must submit a current Food Handlers Certificate to participate in Lab classes. The certificate must be from a State Approved (Texas) course or an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited course for the State of Texas. This will ensure that you have basic knowledge of food safety as you enter the lab.<\/p>\n

Students must submit an updated certificate when their certificate expires.<\/p>\n

New Students should speak with an advisor if they have a valid Food Handlers Certificate, or a Food Protection Manager Certification.<\/p>\n
